Just so that you can see the amount of work that goes into making a 'Small World' model, we thought that the construction process would make interesting viewing. | ||

First stage (right): A set of components for a Viscount 700 is shown. There are over 40 individual components for each model. These all have to be cleaned, filed, assembled, filled as necessary, etch-primed and painted, then masked for the various colour areas. This same model will then require in excess of 40 individual water slide transfers (decals). | ||||
